1. No smoking.

2. No outside pets are allowed.

3. Do not approach the white dog (Chesapeake Location - Amber Acres Farm).

4. Never enter a field with horses in it, unless specifically permitted by staff/leadership.

5. Never stand behind a horse or go under a horse.

6. Make the horse aware of your presence before approaching.

7. No running.

8. No yelling, shouting, or loud noises.

9. Refrain from making sudden movements.

10. Keep all gates closed.

11. Adults must ensure supervision of their young children. 

12. Wear closed-toe shoes at all times.

13. Always have a halter or bridle on your horse to keep control of your horse. Horses may not be loose outside of a fence/arena/pasture.

14. Never wrap a lead rope or reins around your body parts.

15. Always wear a helmet when riding.

16. Do not mount until an instructor has checked the girth.

17. Always clean up after yourself and your horse.

18. Only feed horses treats from the barn.

19. When feeding horses by hand, keep your palms facing up and your fingers flat and tight.
